"Ta-da tie-dye" - Maya Romanoff

I often turn to Maya Romanoff for finish inspiration...in my hospitality design past there was never a project that didn't feature at least one of his wall covering products.  Yesterday as I was drafting a lil' blog post on inspiring textures and saving images of the Anniversary Collection something better landed in my inbox.
1stDibs weekly Eye on Design emailer has a great write up on Romanoff's career starting with Woodstock and ending with David Rockwell collaborations.  What really captivated me are the photos of Romanoff's large scale tie dye installations where he completely elevates the art of tie-dye.  I honestly had no idea that this is where it all started but I can see the connection to the Weathered Walls and Weathered Metals Collections.  Read the whole article here: 1stdibs Introspective - eye-on-design - Maya Romanoff
