30A is a serious bike-about town, with its generous bike path and flat terrain, our only mode of transportation was on two wheels.  While I am not normally a planned community type of girl {I like a little grit and sultry urban-ness}, these resort towns draw me back every year.  I am certain it is the lack of cheap souvenir shops with sharks protruding from the facade and towering condo buildings mucking up the natural landscapes.  With its lush dunes, you can barely see the mansions protruding from the shore *wink, wink*.   Ahhh, I can almost still smell the jasmine and rosemary....

Dancing in the Rain

Some might think that cloudy skies and rain 6 out of 7 days might add up to a wash-out, but if you are wearing the right attitude and apparel then you are just dancing in the rain.  Oh how I love Jazz Fest, my favorite time of year!

Come Marching In

I'm back!....are you still there?  I had every intention of mobile blogging last week but due to technical difficulties and quality control, I decided to remain "unplugged".  

So what have we been up to?  Just soaking in some rays, rain, and rhythms; and feast on fine foods during our annual Jazz Fest - 30A vacation.  A few years ago we decided that we could never miss another weekend of Jazz Fest so with Brass Passes in hand we hit everyday at the festival and then spend a relaxing 3 days at the beautiful beaches of 30A, Florida.

I am working on our photos {I've become a little obsessed with cross color processing post production}, but I will post soon.  And yes, in case you were counting it has been 3 weekends in a row in Nola {and we will be back in two weeks}....now off to catch up on what all you wonderful bloggers out there are up to....

Mobile test, test...one, two...one, two

Isn't it fun to pull extra tickets out of skee-ball machines?  (Just came across this picture on my phone and I thought I should give mobile blogging a whirl.)

Rolling into New Orleans now. We will be inside the fairgrouds in less than an hour. Sweet sweet Jazz Fest, my favorite time of year!

This weekend was awe-some!  Here is a little inspiration, dancing, and general life-loving that I was able to experience during Anna and Rob's wedding extravaganza.

These last two weeks have been a complete whirlwind.  I know my posts have been few and far between.  Unfortunately our nine year old yellow lab, Duke, has been diagnosed with anorexia {seriously it was on his admittance papers at the vet}, actually they think it is lymphoma. It has been many sleepless nights and too many trips to the vet.
