I love these Fitas do Bonfim {wish ribbons} which I spotted this weekend in my sister's kitchen. Made by the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, the legend is that you tie the ribbon on your wrist with three knots and when the ribbon falls off your three wishes will come true. The church is in Bahia, Brazil which is from all accounts a place of miracles. I think my first wish shall be to someday make it to Brazil.
